The service
FocalScore scans publicly accessible websites and returns an automated report of findings and suggested fixes. Reports are informational: they are a prioritized starting point, not a guarantee of search rankings, traffic, or revenue. You're responsible for any changes you make to your site.
Acceptable use
- Scan sites you own or are authorized to audit.
- Don't use FocalScore to attack, overload, or probe sites you don't control, or to break any law.
- Don't resell or redistribute reports except as allowed by the Agency plan.
Plans & billing
- The scan and full report are free after signup.
- The AI Advanced Report is a one-time $49 charge — see Refunds below.
- Monitor ($19/mo) and Agency ($99/mo) are subscriptions billed monthly; cancel anytime and you won't be charged again.
- Payments are processed by Stripe.
Refunds
The AI Advanced Report is a one-time $49 charge and carries a 30-day money-back guarantee, counted from the date of your purchase. If it doesn't help, use the Request a refund button under the report — it is there for 30 days after you buy. You don't have to justify the request.
Your first refund request is approved automatically and processed at once. If you have already had a refund from us in the past year, a further request is reviewed by a person and settled within 2 business days — it is still honoured under the guarantee. You can also email info@focalscore.com within the 30 days and we'll refund it for you.
A refund undoes the purchase: once your payment is refunded in full, the AI Advanced Report is removed from your account. If you dispute the charge with your bank instead (a chargeback), access to the AI report is suspended while the dispute is open, and restored if it is resolved in our favour.
Refunds go back through Stripe to the card that paid, because Stripe is what processes the payment — we never hold your card details, so there is no other route the money can take. It usually takes 7–14 working days to reach your statement, most of which is your bank rather than us.
The free scan and the full page-by-page report cost nothing, so there is nothing to refund on them. Monitor and Agency are month-to-month subscriptions: cancelling stops any further charge, and the month already paid for is not refunded. If you cancel while a payment is overdue, the plan ends straight away and the unpaid invoice is voided, so you won't be charged for it.
Availability & liability
FocalScore is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it accurate and available but can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the date above. Continued use means you accept the current version.
